By Steve Hare for OhioVarsity...talks about his upcoming junior season. Receives letters from Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Northwestern and Boston College. Camped at OSU and visited BC.

I played against him last year when we played Walsh in the State playoffs. Having gone up against him and Walsh's other DE Nick Schepis (signed with BC last year) I think that McShane was a better player even as a sophomore. Of course I didn't go up against them when they were on offense, but defensively McShane was more aggressive and utilized his strength better.

Just got in from the Walsh/Buchtel game. McShane will make someone an excellent lineman. I'm guessing he's closer to 6'2" than the listed 6'5". Is he OSU material, ask me next year. Walsh 42 Buchtel 14
