I'd put Terrance up against anyone on the city of Houston right now. He has a good sense about him and is tremendously physical. -St. Pius coach Robin Kirk

Farmer has been called by Ohio State assisstant coaches within the past week and he was told if the decision was up to them he'd receive an offer. Apparently they will discuss him with Coach Tressel.

Miami (not offered) leads; Tarence mentions that Ohio State (not offered) has been in contact, and that he likes what the staff is telling him. Farmer has offers from Kansas, Oklahoma State, Houston, Tennessee, and UTEP.

Any chance of Tarence Receiving an offer?
There's a chance, but the Bucks already have six "speed" commitments (Saine, Oliver, Evege, Washington, Sanzenbacher, and Herron), two leans (Clifford and Torrence), two more who are good possibilities (Cuff and Scott), and several other offerees (Hankerson, Clements, Allen, Harris, to name a few). That's a lot of players ahead of Farmer.

Tarence says Miami (no offer), Tennessee (offer), and tOSU (no offer) are his top 3. Oklahoma St., UTEP, Kansas, and SMU have also offered. Farmer says tOSU is recruiting him pretty hard. The coaches have told him that they like him on both sides of the ball.

Film review:

Returning kicks, Tarence is a smooth runner who knows how to set-up his blocks and also is adept at using what we in rugby call a "swerve" to create space for himself. He is certainly not the fastest guy in the world but seems to have adequate speed...just not game-breaking speed.

On defense, all the clips show Tarence playing soft coverage from the CB spot. Again, his lack of speed may not allow him to play CB at the next level, but with his ability to read plays and make some solid hits, I could definitely see a safety prospect.

On offense, Tarence is not afraid to go over the middle and make the tough catch. He is not the kind of kid who can turn any ball into a TD, but he is going to make the catches he should make and move the chains. He shows great hands and the ability to once again set-up his downfield blockers nicely.

Overall...it is not hard to see why he is a DI prospect. Will Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio State and USC come through with offers? That probably depends on how he does this Fall. But it is not hard to see why some good programs like Tennessee, Kansas and Oklahoma State have offered. This is the kind of kid who looks like he could go off to college a bit unheralded and leave as a solid performer if not a guy who will be playing on Sundays. He would make a fine college safety or slot WR.

Film.

My Take: Interesting prospect. I like him better at WR than DB...solid burst, good hands on Offense. In the latest clips on defense, he played too high and was unpolished in his coverage and drops. Shows good closing speed but not very impressive in the short clips. His Jr. highlights at WR are much more impressive.
