From the Pitt site...Ben's coach talks about him as a person and a player and then Ben talks about recruiting. He has been to Pitt, Purdue, Ohio State and Notre Dame unofficially. He plans to check out BC and Harvard as well. His parents are Pitt season-ticket holders.

Believe it or not I actually know Ben.. he is in my grade and is in one of my classes. He did commit to Harvard, but from talking to him it doesn't appear that is set in stone yet. As for tOSU, forget him going there at least on any schollie, maybe as a walk on but if he was gonna walk on I am pretty sure he'd rather go to ND for that. Anyhow I have talked to him about it, and if Pitt were to offer out of nowhere, that is obviously were he'd go.

As for being smart, that's a no brainer... the kid got a 122 out of 112 on a test that 99% of the class struggled to get a C on. I also know that he is a weight room junkie, and he is gonna get even bigger.

Another big time player goes to my school.. Rob Reiland (Miami of Ohio bound), just as big as ben, likely to be a DE or TE in college for what I see.
