He played safety on defense, although he may project as a LB in college. I don't recall where he played on offense, but his future is definitely defense.

you hit the nail on the head...he is listed as a RB/DB by Rivals and a S/LB by Scout...so I just went ahead with the ATH tag, which we can always change later.

Smart move on Carlton's part transferring to Trotwood and out of Dayton Public schools. Mo Douglass will guide him in the right direction over there. He's done a really good job with that program and getting his guys to D1 schools.

Video of CJ in action...he looks like a natural athlete. Long easy strides and great speed. He also can step up and lay the wood on defense. Scout projects him as a LB, and I think I might agree after watching this film. The 4.46 he ran was at OSU's camp last summer.

I would love to see him get offered as a lb. With the good news about Clifford you would think that we would be done at safety with Oliver and Clifford.

He shows great speed and at 6'2'' you would think he would be able to add quite a bit of weight.

If we are to take 3 LB's then I would love to see us take Peake. I think we get both Hines and Dailey(though it's early I know) and right now it's in my opinion that Peake would be next in line out of the LB's we are currently in on, other than maybe McNaul(OLB or Mike?). Definetly could help his cause with another good camp performance.
