Ohio State is showing interest in McCamey. Teammate of another possible Ohio State target, Evan Turner. Considered one of the top players in Illinois in the 2007 class. Rivals.com ranks McCamey as the #92 overall player in the 2007 class. Averaged 16 points and 7 assits per game as a Junior.

Michigan State and Wake are reportedly in the lead. Michigan State, Wake Forest, Miami-FL, Virginia, Depaul and Purdue have offered. Also listing Clemson, UConn, Illinois, Iowa State, Kentucky and Villanova.

Ohio State is now actively canvassing the state of Illinois for players. They have picked up on the trail of Class of 2007 St. Joseph High School stars Evan Turner and Demetri McCamey. They are also actively looking at the Illinois Class of 2008, a class which is loaded with a number of high-major talents.

Hey 44820 have you been able to get any type of gauge on our interest in him.

I think it could be hard for us to only pull one of him or Turner, because they seem like they could end up a package deal and IMO I don't think we have room for two more guys in this class, that is assuming Lauderdale verbals.

Reportedly has an offer, so that shows genuine interest. Not sure of his interest level as he has been playing it close to the vest. Not sure of the package deal and its just my opinion but if that was the case, they would find room for both in this class, as far as scholies, we have the room.

Turner seems to be the main target at the wing...
