Ohio State to host SW DeKalb star

Southwest DeKalb defensive end Morris Council is headed to Ohio State for an official visit this weekend.
The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Council is coming off a trip to Florida A&M. He is also being recruited by Miami (Ohio), Georgia Southern and Toledo.
?As his coach, I would say he?s headed to Miami, Ohio,? Southwest DeKalb coach Buck Godfrey said. ?He and his family had a good visit there.?
Godfrey said he isn?t surprised three Ohio schools are interested in Council.
?Our players aren?t homebodies,? he said. ?It?s just that feeling of being wanted.?

I like that the coaches did have an opportunity to see him at camp this summer...
Morris looks to have much more size than Patrick Grant... If the 40-time is accurate, Morris looks to move pretty well for a big-guy as well... Going simply off those measurables, I would think Morris could grow into a DT in the future...

i like his GPA and test scores..seems like a bright kid

It seems like in the past when new recruits pop up late in the game they tend to be pretty solid students (sometimes even more so than what we generally go after). Im guessing the logic may be if they are not going to be impact players right away, take super quality kids that will be the backbone of the program over the next 4 or 5 years.

which is why we already removed him from the official/unofficial visitors thread...might be removing Grant as well.
