Talked to a coach from Gainesville which plays Nease(and beat Nease) and he mentioned a real good player from Tebow's HS that OSU was giving a serious look and that it wasn't Wilson. This must be the guy.

USC Final Three For Florida DB

By Phil Kornblut
DB Mario Butler (6-2 180) of St. Augustine, FL plans to make his decision July 6th and he has narrowed his choices to USCarolina, Georgia Tech and Maryland. "I feel like I can't go wrong with any one of those choices," Butler said. "I'm looking for what's the best for Mario. My family's behind me but it's going to come down to me. It will be the academics, the coaches and the chance to compete." Butler visited Maryland Thursday. He earlier visited USC and Georgia Tech. At his USC visit, Butler said he "spoke with all the coach and had the chance to talk with coach Spurrier. I toured the facilities." Butler said the three finalists all seem to want him the same amount. He says he hears from Gamecock recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. "about every day."

Butler Knows His Team

By Phil Kornblut
DB Mario Butler (6-2 180) of St. Augustine, FL has made his college decision. But he won't tell anyone until Thursday afternoon. Butler said Sunday night the decision came down to USC, Georgia Tech and Maryland. "I chose the school on the overall perspective of what's best for me," he said. "The academic part, the coaches and just the natural feel of making myself at home." Butler said he won't inform the winning school until Thursday afternoon and then he'll alert the media.
