Griffen is planning to camp at both Notre Dame and Ohio State next summer, but he will be rooting for Notre Dame when the two teams battle in the upcoming Fiesta Bowl.

Interesting comment: Everson knows that all college coaches can coach football, so he is looking for a coach who can guide him in other areas, who will be a mentor in life....

Observations: 1 clip is of Griffen at FB, what a load coming out of the backfield. Shows quick feet and decent speed. 1 clip is of Griffen at DE, shows good quickness off the ball and gets to the QB in a hurry.

People in AZ think Griffen is the real deal and a Jevon Kearse-like athlete with that size and speed. Should be interesting to see if/when we offer.

Have to disagree here...I thought he was a step slow off the ball even though he obviously had his ears pinned back to pass rush a few times. He looked more like a DT to me as he did have active feet and came off flatbacked in the three point stance. Works well with his hands but if he is going to play DE, he will need to polish the pass rush.
