Byham: "I'm real smart with the game and I make good quick decisions. I'm also pretty quick for a tight end. I'm a very energetic player and I get really pumped up for games. I want to work on getting stronger and putting on more weight. I also want to get faster."
Scouting Report:"Byhams speed and athleticism causes match-up problems for opponents, he plays physical like a tight end, but has the speed and agility of a big wide receiver. Possesses outstanding ball skills, and uses his body well, to shield defenders away from him when making a catch. Has outstanding vertical ability to climb the ladder and get up for high passes. Very tough and physical blocker at the point of attack.

He is listing Iowa, Miami(FL), Ohio State, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Purdue, USC and Tennesee. All have offered according to Rivals.com.

rivals.com update 5/11/05

He has offer 18 offers at this point. He will visit OSU this summer.

300 squat is low too isn't it? Maybe I'm wrong but I maxed out at 330 and I am nowhere near this guy in physical ability. If hes a WR its probably moot, but the title says TE or ILB. I don't know, maybe he just started lifting.

From The Pitt site...Nate is up to 18-19 offers, including ones from Pitt, USC, OSU, Miami, Oklahoma, Michigan, Iowa, and Tennessee. Nest week he is unofficially visiting Iowa, Ohio State, and Michigan. He is currently rated as the 8th best prospect in Pennsylvania.

The Pitt writers crack me up...I love how they throw themselves in with USC, OSU, Miami, Oklahoma and Michigan when naming a few of his offers. They are so precious...
