Jason is holding 24 offers right now including a reported tOSU offer, but has not started to narrow things down as his recruitment is picking up speed over the summer. Iowa, Miami, tOSU, Michigan, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Michigan State were listed as schools of interest. As a junior, Jason recorded 87 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, and 4 fumble recoveries. He scored a 1440 on the new SAT.


Personal Take: On film, Jason is a gifted hitter on both sides of the ball. He bulldozed players whether running the ball, blocking, or tackling. Also, he showed good hands coming out of the backfield. At 6'3" and 250 pounds, Jason can play a variety of positions depending on his growth. Overall, Jason is a quality prospect. This offer could be a sign that the staff feels Micah Johnson is a longshot at best.

Jason looks pretty impressive. he checks in at #100 on scout's hot 100.

Mike Farrell just posted on the rivals main board that jason has a top 7 Va Tech, Miami, Michigan, OSU, UVA, Iowa, RU. He hasn't narrowed it down beyond that.


So it looks like osu is definately getting in the mix.

Adjepong is not taking calls from coaches or talking to the media. He apparently will not do anything involved with recruiting until after the season.

That's something to love about a kid, one who doesn't let himself get caught up in the 15 minutes of fame (in recruiting) and focuses on what he needs to do mentally and physically to prepare himself for the college level, and not what his ego wants from him.

Adjepong had 41 calls on 1 Sept, because of that he has began to trim his list and notify coaches. He does not give a list. Jason has 33 written offers.

Adjepong will take an unofficial to Va Tech for the Miami game in November. Georgia, Iowa, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia, and Virginia Tech just to name a few have offered.
