From the Georgia site...Alex showed well at the Nike camp in Athens, with good technique and solid fundamentals.

Alex will likely need a year of prep school before he can become eligible to play D-1 football; sounds like a core credit issue.

Alex is up to 5 offers (tOSU, Ole Miss, Miss. St., Tennessee, and UCF). he is focusing on tOSU and Ole Miss right now. says he really likes the academic program and that they are willing to help him with tutors and study halls. says Ole Miss is recruiting him pretty hard right now too. he has been upgraded to 3*'s on Scout.

My Guess: sounds like the staff REALLY wants this kid as a DT recruit in this class. i think we are in the drivers seat...

Grade Issues?

I thought there was a core credit problem with Alex. I thought tOSU doesn't normally take those players or many players from prep schools. Maybe I'm incorrect.

apparantly it's something that can be worked out... i've heard from more than one place that tOSU is trying really hard to get him up to snuff with his grades.

Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Ohio State and Central Florida have offered. Ohio State and Ole Miss are the two he is looking hard at. As far as Ohio State goes, he likes the academic side saying that OSU is willing to help him with anything he needs as far as academics. Academics are the key to Dekle.

actually Mississippi State is next, then ole miss, for accuracy purposes.
