FWIW, I was an extra in the Shawshank movie. From that experience, my opinion of Morgan Freeman as a human being isn't very high. Great actor, though.

The Reformatory in Mansfield was used for the prison scene in this movie as well. The Christmas Story and Shawshank Redemption would be my two favorites from this list.
