Not sure if this has been discussed before, but with the offense being somewhat inconsistent....what would your thoughts be on perhaps bringing Mark Helfrich (formerly of Oregon) in as Offensive coordinator, and have Ed Warriner be dedicated 100% to the offensive line?
Several years ago while attending a football game, a group of OSU students were passing out red rubber wristbands with 3 words on them...I guess it was the motto of the football team or university at the time. My memory isn't what it used to be. Does anyone remember these and the three...
I think the bowl game situation works out this way:
Iowa beats MSU: MSU to the Rose Bowl, and Buckeyes to Fiesta
MSU beats Iowa impressively: Buckeyes to Rose Bowl
MSU beats Iowa in a close one: Iowa to Rose Bowl, Buckeyes to Fiesta
*but I've been wrong before!
I thought I was watching the B1G Championship game from a couple years ago where tOSU didn't give the ball to their bellcow RB Carlos Hyde. There is something about this coaching staff that when up against Sparty, they decide it's best NOT to give it to the stud RB.
Changes need to be made in...
If you will be on campus Saturday morning, check out the great brunch at Sloopy's in the Ohio Union.
There are large tailgate parties north of campus on Lane Avenue in front of Riverwatch Towers condos and adjacent and behind the Varsity Club which is also on Lane Avenue.
If you are into the...
I'm predicting 4 undefeated teams in the playoffs. Sorry Bama!
1)Clemson
2)LSU
3)B1G champion (tOSU!)
4)Winner of Baylor/TCU game
No David's this year, all Goliaths.
This is not rocket science...Remember at the end of the season when they had to throw Cardale in short notice? They admitted, they SIMPLIFIED THE OFFENSE to accommodate the inexperienced QB.
Perhaps, with all the offensive weapons they possess, they have just made this offense much too...
2015 I expect them to go undefeated and beat TCU in the Championship game. Average 45+ points/game and have a top 10 defense. This team will go down as one of the NCAA greatest of all time. This year is gonna be special.
I'm thinking of making a road trip for the Illinois game later this year with my 11 year old son (huge Buckeye fan already). Any recommendations for hotels/parking/restaurants would be appreciated. Thanks!
The Oregon/FSU game was shown prior to the Buckeyes/Oregon...Crazy how Oregon's offense AND defense had their way with FSU...and then astounding how the Buckeyes handled the Ducks. Wow, just wow!
I went with Cardale. He has proven himself and succeeded against the three toughest teams all season. However, I'm not sure if his body will hold up with his tough running style. Cardale has an NFL caliber arm, and that deep threat opens up a lot more of the short stuff. JT will get plenty...
So, I'm throwing around the idea of going to the Big Ten Championship game this December...of course I expect the Buckeyes to be playing! For those of you familiar with the area, and any of the pre-game festivities, any recommendations where to stay within walking distance to the stadium? Thanks!
