Quarterback is way too important a position, you acquire and maintain talent as much as possible and let the best man win. Day had to deal with a sub-par (for his standards) starter last season and he's leaving nothing to chance. In a world where players and coaches leave on a whim, I don't...
Interestingly enough, Coen is a Rhode Island guy. My older brother picked him off in high school a playoff game about 22 years ago. Never imagined he'd be coming up in conversations like this.
Reminds me of what Cie Grant posted after the Game, something to the effect of how recruiting bad (for lack of a better term) kids would fix the issues. It's ludicrous.
I will grant that anyone who can brazenly break team rules or violate the law knowingly is more likely to play with a reckless...
I've never understood what the difference is between preparing a kid for a profession in an office vs a profession on the field. To me, they would still be Ohio State kids. But yeah, good luck selling that to the academic types.

Just give me a mobile QB, adds a dimension we've been lacking for a while. Doesn't need to be Braxton, just a guy with escapability and pocket awareness. Also wouldn't hurt if Day wasn't so afraid of letting his QB run.
Our best teams in my lifetime have always had QBs that could move, the...
Would have been a great year for an 8 team playoff...
1. Michigan vs 8. Oregon
2. Washington vs 7. Ohio State
3. Texas vs 6. Georgia
4. Alabama vs 5. Florida State
I think the term I would use to critically describe most of Days teams since 2020...non chalant. They also don't seem to improve much as the season progresses.
Something about your best player giving up on plays that doesn't sit right with me. In this game?? In THIS fucking game??? It's...
First of all, I never said mccord sucks.
Get your panties out of a bunch. I know plenty.
He missed a wide-open fleming multiple times. He underthrew cade on an easy would be TD early. The first pick was egregious. The loft down the seem to a wide open egbuka was absurdly late.
Was he garbage...
He struggled with the same things early in the year as he did today. And he wasn't awesome, late throws, inaccurate throws, bad decisions, wide open receivers missed. He wasn't quite a walking disaster but it's the same stuff all year.
