Tons of great ones but mine comes down to one guy
:gobucks1: :gobucks2: The reason I am a Buckeye fan is Cornelius Greene...when I was little I loved that name and loved the Buckeyes as a result. When I got to the point of entering college, OSU was my first choice but unfortunately not my...
Wonderfully simple and easily done. Of course, the criterion for getting on that sign would also be points of controversy but anything honoring people usually are...there has to be a cutoff point and some people easily rise above it but many hover around that bubble line.
Not enough numbers and stadium not big enough
Let's face it, the available numbers would never do justice nor would the size of the stadium to the number of great players at all of the different positions over the many years of tOSU football. This is really a somewhat ridiculous argument...
Understandable but difficult request
Although it is a difficult if not downright impossible request to have a school stop spontaneous acts it is understandable as to why the NCAA would have a concern. Sometimes you have to look at it from the standpoint of what could happen if the rule did not...
Great post!! Loved it. If more people realized how easily recruits move up and down lists based on certain factors such as grades, injuries, bad and good games, media exposure locally etc. they might be amazed.
My point wasn't necessarily aimed at their ability to drive but the nonchalant attitude we take in allowing the very same kids we don't believe have the maturity to handle certain situations with a responsibility that could cost someone else their life. The fact is that each individual kid...
I don't disagree much but what I have found over the last 10-20 years is the liberal use of kid. They are 17-18 year old kids who do have to make a decision and quite an important one. Expecting it to be done with class, respect, and maturity is not too much to ask of someone who is more than...
What do you mean by this?
Not sure what you mean by removing Buckeye leaf icon. I am new to the board. Did I do something wrong? :( If so, I apologize tremendously.:gobucks1: :gobucks2: :gobucks1: :gobucks2: :gobucks1: :gobucks2: :gobucks1: :gobucks2: :gobucks1: :gobucks2:
I would agree with you about the receiver position. Losing Holmes will sting because of his leadership but kids can't stay forever. With regard to this class, my only real complaint, we could use a few more lineman, especially interior lineman. Regardless of what people say about depth on the...
Good points. What always interests me is the call for more stringent entrance requirements then at recruiting time the hope that an admissions office will let someone go because they play a high-profile sport. The scholarships granted relative to graduation rates make it extremely important to...
I think we finish out 8 and 3. Losses to Illinois and Michigan State are most probable, but I do believe that we can win the rest with allowance for one stubbing of the toe. I would certainly welcome a running of the table to finish out the season.
