Your linebackers (Hawk especially) were badass. I knew that going into the game, but an argument can be made that Hawk was the best player on the field.

LOL. I did misread. Sorry. I just realized you gave me green rep 2 days ago or maybe yesterday..then took it away again tonight I guess. Was it cause I misread Winslow's message? Thats just hilarious. On another note...Astros finally put some runs on the board....college football...

Uhh..and he wasn't a major contributor? He saved yalls asses countless times.
  4. Game Thread Game Two: Texas 25, Ohio State 22 (final)

No, that he has gotten only moderate work. He is stronger and bigger, but may have lost bit of speed (from bulk, not from injury). We have to see him in full live action to get a barometer on that. He'll work into the 3rd quarter, I would imagine.

Don't get your panties in a wad. The game's not cancelled. It never was going to be. --------------------- Fit and full of fight Selvin Young, back from injury, says he's in the best shape of his career as Brown unveils Texas' starting lineup for opener. By Suzanne Halliburton...

ULA LA game will be over before it begins. Even if we have predictable and conservative play calling. Selvin Young will get a lot of work. I think we will score on almost every drive during the first half. -------------------------------- <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0...

Boekman (SP?). He's apparently real good. I've have read in some places they'd rather have Boekman start than Zwick (probably a little sarcasically). But Zwick's got the experience and ended the season on a good note.
  8. Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 34, Miami of Ohio 14 (final)

I agree. I think he would not want to risk injuries either. No one is going to bash tOSU if they win by 10-14 points.
  9. Game Thread Game Two: Texas 25, Ohio State 22 (final)

No suprises there. Thats pretty funny. :) Also, what is good for both teams is that it is an early game. If you're gonna lose, you better do it early.
  10. Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 34, Miami of Ohio 14 (final)

:) Agree to disagree...Anyway... So is Boekman starting this game? I heard Zwick's ankel is OK and he'll be good to go?
  11. Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 34, Miami of Ohio 14 (final)

They had an equal schedule? That's laughable. You must have missed this post. Miami had the 42nd ranked SOS last year and BG had the 115th ranked SOS.
  12. Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 34, Miami of Ohio 14 (final)

When it counted, they're defense was terrible, but they had a pansy ass scheduel that padded their numbers. What part of (paraphrasing here) "ok, I retract my statment. They're defense WILL BE stellar" do you not understand?
  13. Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 34, Miami of Ohio 14 (final)

Skewed because Miami had the 42nd ranked SOS last year and BG had the 115th ranked SOS.
  14. Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 34, Miami of Ohio 14 (final)

Yes, I realized you quoted the right numbers. :! Skewed, b/c I just posted the total ACROSS THE BOARD defensive rankings, and you clearly see who has the better defense.

Took me a sec to track this down. Its easy for you to skew the facts Milani. As for Bowling Green, nothing like Ball State, Temple, and SE Missour State to pad your numbers. Total Team Defense: Rk Team G Rs Net Avg TD Ydspg W L T 17 Miami (Ohio) 12 421 1306 3.10 12 108.8 8 4 0 42 Bowling...

Miami Ohio This will be hands down the best defense in the MAC. All 3 linebackers all stars and will be playing in the NFL. Three of the front 4 are seniors with great experience. Those 3 in Marcus Johnson, Craig Mester and Tranaine Sills might be the three best pass rushers in the MAC...

  19. Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 34, Miami of Ohio 14 (final)

I honestly think that Bowling Green has to be the most overrated team in the nation. Sure Omar Jacobs is your prototypical NFL QB just waiting to get drafted in the 1st round buttttt just like the 2001 and 2002 Marshall teams, Byron Leftwich didnt play defense and neither does Omar Jacobs. This...
  20. Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 34, Miami of Ohio 14 (final)

That's a very fair statement. I agree about OU. Also, their loss of Stoops is starting to show, as their team just doesn't look as physical anymore. I don't think Tressel is a defensive coach. More that he is a ball-control coach and likes to control the tempo of the game. That may...
