Listen to me folks. Those who have known me on the board a long time understand what I'm about to say...
Nothing good ever comes out of Manhattan, Kansas.
The fact that the QB took that horrendous sack on the last series says enough for me.
Good day gentlemen....
Been a long while. Changed jobs, lost my father in law a few months ago, and had myself on a hiatus from posting on sport message boards.
But that time has changed.
Let me say a few things for my annual post over here with you kind folks....
First - my Huskers won...
I was like that with KSU. I could go 1-11 that year and as long as those bastards from Laggyville in that dumpster fire were eating crow at the end of the year, I would be happy 8D
Okay guys, this isn't a troll post, but an honest one that has to do with coach Day. I'm talking with a co-worker about your fan base and how you all get down with coaches that have a problem beating scUM. My statement was that if Coach Day didn't beat scUM this year, his seat would get hot...
Speechless. I'm a Husker fan, and have been through what could be best described as some very poor, poor years. But at least in MOST of these instances, we weren't up with less than 1:00 with the chance to take a knee.
Now, had they taken the knee, fumbled, THEN lost the game? That would be...
Gents - that choke job by CSU is what we around here in Husker land call "Nebraska-ing."
Where you play dominant with fire for 3 1/2 quarters only to choke it away stupidly in the end.
Also - Jay Norvell was the OC here once, so he's still infested with the Nebraska-ing bug.
He should have run the ball, but let's be clear - losing Harrison was pretty much the nail in you guys night. CJ played his ass off, but he didn't have a ton of help after that injury.
