    2021 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Thank you. The UW campus is amazing, especially in a week or two when all the cherry trees will be blooming. Between hiking with the hiking club, exploring Seattle's culture with the light rail and bus systems, and dining at the remarkably diverse restaurants on University Ave. (the UW version...

    2021 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Anecdotal, but...My son was just accepted to the University of Washington this fall, so I am keeping up on the goings on at UW. Despite the fact that King County is the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in the US right now and that UW has all but closed campus and moved everyone to online...

2021 OH DB A.J. Kirk (MSU Verbal)

Yet, based on his junior season---or lack thereof---not altogether surprising.

QB Jack Miller (transfer to Florida)

Hopefully that is true. Justin Zwick's career was put behind the eight-ball because of the sieve he had to work behind as a senior at Massillon. His technique never recovered from that experience.

2020 Who is coming in early?

Trey Leroux is also supposed to enroll early. At least, that was true as of two months ago, per a 247 article.

2020 Who is coming in early?

That is actually his dad's tweet. That said, the fact that his son is as classy as his dad says a lot about both of them. Along with virtually same name, it definitely explains the confusion.

WR Julian Fleming (transfer to Ped)

Mexican kid we recruited out of el Ciudad de Middletown

OL Enokk Vimahi (transfer to Washington)

There has been some mention that he was looking at taking a two-year mission right out of high school. I'm not sure whether that is still on the table.

    2019 tOSU Offense (Official Thread)

I hope Day is looking at grad transfer for depth, if not to start. The top two on the market currently appear to be RJ Proctor from UVA and Ean Pfeifer from Vandy, both of whom have starting experience. UCLA's Justin Murphy would be in the conversation as well, but his knees are shot.

Grant Gunnell (QB Arizona, transfer to ???)

His left tackle last season was Tyler Vrabel, Mike Vrabel's son. Not sure that helps Ohio State any, but worth mentioning.

    2018 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

With the commitments of Wray and Proctor today, that is two more states from which OSU has invaded. I can't recall any players from Tennessee or Oklahoma previously (Vonn Bell played in GA, and the only kid we've landed from OK was Kevin Johnson, a JUCO originally from GA). By my reckoning...

Tavion Thomas (RB Cincinnati Bearcats, transfer to ???)

He reminds me a lot of Drushaun Humphrey. Humphrey was recruited as a tailback, but he was so raw that I questioned whether he could excel it it in college (and as we know, he tragically never had the chance). Thomas is quite similar in that he has a big body, is a great athlete, but is quite...

Liam McCullough's brother is also a long-snapper and in the 2018 class. Just sayin'

I was impressed with his film. Good feet and has some nastiness.

    tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Robinson is a great prospect and all, but I really want to see OSU start recruiting some more "chain-movers." I think KJ Hill has this in him, but he is probably the only guy on the team or among the recruits who can find the holes in the defense around the first-down maker without running the...

Tate Martell, JK Dobbins, Josh Myers, Brendon White, Isaiah Pryor, Marcus Williamson, and Shaun Wade. Jeffrey Okudah and Darnay Holmes, assuming they each pick OSU, would also be early enrollees.

Phil Jurkovec (QB Notre Dame, transfer to Boston College)

Wiltfong made his prediction based on talking with Jurkovec this past weekend as well as those close to him. What are your sources for feeling differently?

FL (MD) DE Josh Kaindoh (Florida State Signee)

Probably, but after seeing JK Dobbins and Haskell Garrett commit to OSU without having set foot on the campus, I can't rule anything out.
  19. Hodgepodge

Danny Clark (QB Kentucky Wildcats, transfer to Vanderbilt)

Well, Baird certainly thought highly of himself for getting an OSU offer despite many people questioning why he got the offer, so I can see where you're coming from.
