In theory losing the extra league game gives the league 7 extra home game gates.... and I'm guessing 5-6 more wins atleast... which leads to inflated rankings for the league which makes our loses "better" because we lose to higher ranked teams..... Get rid of the extra league game, Alabama...

To a point they do... a few years if not for the over inflated ratings of there fellow SEC members would there body of work raised to the level to get into the champship game.... If OSU got the same perks.... I wonder how there last decade would shake out....

You forget SEC.... so Alabama beat a great team so they need to go even higher in the rankings... and as Alabama is so great, even in losing MSU deserves to be bumped up a bit for there great losing effort... I think I got there logic right...

If we had a 32 team playoff.... I could see sandbagging... But who is going to hold back a player talented enough to make that type of difference and risk not winning games the first 75 percent of the season.

Agreed, But Ped State was worse then both and didn't get the death penalty and heck got its penalty reduced by pretending to care..... I read about SMU (just a tad to young to remember it) and comments something to the effect that they over reached on penalties there and that the death penalty...

Maybe this is why the Sports Reporters is being cancelled they refused to pimp The Bachelor. Hadn't watched it in years as ESPN has lost its appeal to me, but used to enjoy that show on Sunday morns.

Playoffs need to expand to 8 if the committee is stupid.... aka last year, sorry MSU over OSU was stupid..... Playoffs are perfect at 4 if they use there heads and put the top 4 teams in.... I don't want to see 30 or more point blow outs in the playoffs and thats what your going to get with...
