Now that hindsight is 20-20
Does anyone anywhere on the planet agree with me that it would have been better to have played a beatable Georgia team that was also ranked #1 during the year?
think hard here....... (hint hint: first win over an SEC team?)
Why bother with a BCS patch?
Now that there's 5 games designated for QUOTE "BCS games," it's obvious that it's geared so that the Big Six conferences except for the 2 weakest, (Big East and ACC this year) get two teams into them. Just so happens Utah knocked out the Pac 10's second best team...
Why not Rush 3 guys?
Why not rush just three guys and protect from the eventual nickel and diming to death in the final 2 minutes??? Was it not brazenly clear enough that Texas had a weak running game with NEGATIVE 9 yards in the first half??? omg................... Is it now tradition to...
Please Lord let the Buckeyes not endure yet another BCS embarrassment. If they should get a BCS game, poor Terrell will be forced to score 60 points to get a win which chances are slim and none. Despite the defensive physical talent on the current Buckeye defense the fact remains that the last...
I would prefer to play in the Capital One Bowl and beat a Georgia team that was previously ranked #1. Beating SEC teams has to start somewhere. Terrell is going to have to score 65 plus points to beat Texas. The potential Texas matchup will only serve as sweet revenge for Bobby Hill, aka Colt...
What's preferable?
So is it more preferable to go to the BCS Bowl game and get 60 hung on us by Oklahoma or Texas or go to the Capital One and play a beatable Georgia team and GET OUR FIRST WIN EVER OVER A FRIGGEN SEC TEAM????
Offense is self fixing now...What's left?
While Pryor should now be a fixture at QB, the Offense will be able to iron out the kinks leaving one major major problem. hint: IT'S NOT ON OFFENSE...
The defense has given up 41 points to Florida, 38 points to LSU, 35 points to USC. The Good...
Heacock
If DC Heacock were running things in 2002 instead of Dantonio, The 02 Hurricanes would have scored 80 points in that national championship game.
Florida, Illinois, LSU, now USC..... How many more high profile games must I bear witness to before the defense starts playing proactive...
Question for DC Heacock
Will Ohio State stay in the same set all year long yet again?
Will there be any change of schemes ever?
2 years ago the newspapers read "But these Buckeyes looked completely flummoxed by Florida's frenetic offense at the outset. Trying to match up with the Gators'...
Tennessee
Would love to beat down Phil Fulmer and make Bill Dance put on a Scarlet and Grey block O cap. Would love to hear Coach Tressel announce he could beat Fulmer in golf one-handed too but that would be just to much to ask from the vest.
Now, to go off on a tangent:
Tennessee and...
Becoming more clear
To get to the national championship game now we need two of three scenarios.
1. WV has to be defeated by either UCONN or Pittsburgh. ( i would think the pittsburgh rivalry game has the better chance of a WV defeat )
2. Kansas and Missouri play each other. One of which...
what if...
Assuming Ohio State wins and goes to the Rose...
If Arizona State gets beat by USC, and Georgia and LSU win out (with LSU beating TN in the SEC championship)
LSU would go to the national championship with Oregon.
Can the Rose Bowl pick Georgia as the at Large team or is the NON...
I would suggest.............
I would suggest West Virginia, (primarily) followed by Louisville. Might be far fetched but they are not in any existing Big Ten States. This vacates a spot in the Big East; I'm sure Marshall would be interested in that.
I just think either WV or Louisville...
My I bring up Play Calling?
So we go back to Happy Valley this year. Hopefully we will have better weather conditions this time than last but even if we don't, there will be no excuse for not utilizing better play calling. Seeing their fans calling the play before it happens is unacceptable...
Good to be here.
This looks like a great forum for Buckeyes, anywhere on the planet!
I'm living in SEC country now but I get to see the Bucks play with about three or four hundred other crazy Buckeye faithful every week at our Atlanta alumni/booster club!
:osu:
What totally kills me is.....
The astounding apologists for Mike Vick in the ATL. I mean who else did Vick screw over the hardest??? He screwed over his TEAM MATES! He screwed over Arthur Blank! He screwed over the season ticket holders! He screwed over basically anyone in or around Atlanta. He...
Mike Vick remains upbeat
Mike Vick is seen here recently working on a speed drill at his own personal training camp in front of a few friends, since he is not allowed in the Falcons training camp.
