Stoneburner has moved to flex te. Perfect fit. He will line up all over the field. They will try to put him a position to use his god given talents and create mismatches.
:gobucks1::gobucks2:
Thomas, Posey, Stoneburner were high school US Army All American's. The 02 team did not have 3 AA high school players coming in as freshmen at wr. I never mentioned they would play this yr, just the depth in talent is greater then 02.
08 over 02. In 08, OSU has three all american's in the depth chart: Posey, Stoneburner, and Thomas. 02 did not have that type of talent waiting in the wings and pushing the vets.
Stoneburner during spring lifting "hang cleans" 325 lbs, next closest wr is Hartline at 275 lbs. Keep working hard, it will pay off.

Nice hock up with T. Boeckman in second quarter of Spring game. It was 3rd and 18 and Jake got the first down with a catch over the middle for 19 yards. Scarlet team continued on and made a field goal on this drive to go up 10-7 at half. Nice start to a young wr. It is really going to be fun...
IMHO Stoneburner will be the player to make a difference. He can play all 4 spots and will provide that different look we do not have right now. Big Speed over the middle and down the seem.

Stoneburner wins the prestigous James A. Rhodes Ohio High School Player of The Year Award presented by The Touchdown Club. Previous winners include: Archie, Spielman, Katzemoyer, Ginn, Doss, Wells. Nice company.
Congrats Jake!

The WR coach at OSU does not know what he recruited in Stoneburner? Hmmmm! I would say his words, Hazell, would be as honest and true to the truth as anyone. He is the one that recruited him and was very excited at the press conference when he spoke of Jake's athletism.
:gobucks1::gobucks2:
If the learning curve and the comfort level with the offense happens because he is entering OSU in spring. IMHO, Jake plays early. Too many intangibles that will get him on the field in different spots.
:gobucks1::gobucks2:
Great article. IMHO - Jake plays early. His talent and size at WR or H-Back will be to strong to hang out on the side line too long. Possible red zone or situational opportunities early while he learns the whole scheme.
Very excited to see Jake this spring at the spring game. I strongly believe several 2008 players will be pushing to get on the field immediately. Jake has that potential.:osu:
Jake,
All of OSU country will be cheering you on with the rest of the OSU commits in the 2008 US Army All American Game. Have a great time in San Antonio and make sure you leave Texas with Jenkins and Pryor in the fold.
Go Bucks!

Posey wil play next year along with Stoneburner. Frosh: Dane, Wash, and Torrence back to D side will be in the mix. Posey and Stoenburner are probably better now then the current freshmen.
