Dont really get the players saying they weren't locked in last year b/c of the schedule. Even if it's true after the Indiana game they should have locked in---and they played probably their worst game of the year against Miami
Agree. It kind of annoyed me last year when x and o scheme guys and even the coaches to some extent would talk about deep plays that should have worked on paper. There's a reason those plays work like 25% of the time. Everything has to go right
I'm getting more and more confident. I think McCuin (and maybe even Bey) are so big for this offense b/c we haven't really had guys like that recently. We just had too many deep routes last year
McConaghey saying "the atmosphere will be electric. You might need to check to see if your feet are on still on the ground, even if you wear heavy boots like I do" was a pretty sick line
When I was younger I used to make fun of coaches who said the key to football was stopping the run and running the football. Now that I'm old that actually is the key to football8D
It's pretty funny Bey clearly has some maturing to do on and off the field but the coaches are like "god damn man when this guy gets the football I dont know what to tell you"
I do think you sort of have to throw the first game of the year out for both teams. Teams barely do any hitting in practice now. Game 1 you're not really used to being physical yet
This is from 11W today. These darn kids have no understanding of history. Go watch some Troy Smith tape. That was not a run and punt offense.
If Tressel had Smith on one of his Ohio State rosters, would he have changed his offense to feed him the football?
Perhaps it’s revisionist history, but...
Hector Rodriguez is one of the few bright sports this season. He looks like he will at least be a solid starting corner outfielder, which is something they need desperately.
I just dont understand what happened to contact hitters. Guys like Arroyo drive me insane. He has absolutely no power but...
