Wonder if Day will look at Garrett Riley for OC. Seems like that would be a reasonable hire. Obviously didn't light the world on fire at Clemson but that progrum is in total disarray
I'd like to see a little more creativity too at times to work around it. They aren't the only team in the country with some question marks on the line. Shanahan's offense didn't suffer at all playing without Trent Williams last night.
I don't mind the flyer on Bleday. I've always kindof liked him although that is mainly because/c I remember watching him at Vandy where he was awesome. Had a pretty good in '24, don't know what happened last year.
Tywone Malone is one of the better stories on the team this year. Looked like one of those guys that was just going to float through their career but has had a really solid year.
Kindof random but I was listening to the Nate Tice podcast with Brugler and they both agreed that Isaiah World, the OT that chose Oregon, has been underwhelming almost to the point of being bad.
Toney making a big play on a return worries me a little bit. His 16 yards a punt return is a pretty big number. Like every game these special teams units play---I'm not even asking for big plays---just keep it basically neutral
I know other people have said Tegra wouldn't been the starter if he wasn't the best option---I'm just hoping you get GVS or Padilla 3 weeks of practice with the 1's they can take a little leap
Think I agree with this. Not going to pretend I'm a big X/O guy but some times it does seem like they make it harder on themselves than it has to be (or they just aren't playing to what they do well)
It's funny how crazy football stats are now. People, myself included, complain about the running game. Oh, so what were the running back's stats? Like 500 yards on 3.5 yards a carry?
Oh, no, he got 1000 yards on 6 yards a carry
One thing I dont agree with is the people saying he should fired for the relationship alone. Or that he was just fired for the L. That L aside noone was saying he was so bad he should be fired. Obviously that relationship was not ideal in a work setting but it's also obviously not the only time...
I heard on a podcast that Harbaugh's coaching staff has had 7 people arrested? That's a pretty insane number if you just take any random group of people. Like, it's not very very hard to just be a normal person in the world and not get arrested
