Still can't believe Pete Carroll made the idiotic decision to give Chip $6 million a year to be his OC. Probably cost us a title last year and I'd rather have him than Art Smith if early returns are to be believed
This is a similar to 2 of my other frustrations with this coaching staff. Too often we let a weak link on the offensive line beat us on plays or in games. And their constant whining about how it's harder to perform in the red zone without a running QB. Scheme something up. That's why you get...
That's the thing that was troubling about the game to me---that they weren't good at stopping the run OR rushing the QB. At Ohio State you should basically always be good at least one of those and obviously ideally you're good at both
That honestly might be the most relatable pic of any football person ever. After something devastating happened "can I just eat some pizza in peace and quiet for 10 minutes?"
Day is 6-8 in one score games. I get it, that usually means they are playing a good team, I'm not expecting him to be undefeated. But 6-8 is pretty bad
100 agree Day just did not manage the football game well. It's very hard to lose a game you are winning by 20 in the 4th. You basically have to run and call short efficient pass plays.
I agree with the people who say it's not all on the kicker. Obviously. But I mean jeez God forbid we ever have a kicker who can just hit a game winning FG
I'm a little hit and miss on Patricia. He's pretty conservative. Which is ok overall, I get it at times, especially like last year when half your team is first round picks. But games like yesterday would like to see some sort of scheme to possibly create a big play. Especially since Sayin and...
Agree. Im a 49ers fan and they have plays like this all game. Bunch of motion, bunch of misdirection pre snap and then it's a 6 yard gain to the TE. I think Smith adding these type plays will be huge
ESPN has had a couple of articles I liked recently. I thought they basically didn't have people who wrote there anymore. I learned Michigan football has thrown 24 TD and 24 INT in their last 27 games, which I enjoyed
Pretty funny how he was underrated coming into college and going into the pros b/c of his physical traits. All he does is get open and catch the football
