I swear I can’t be near hot dogs. I could have hot dogs for every meal every day.
Remember at a football pool party in high school no one was eating the food. I sat down and decided to go for it. 13 hot dogs later and to say it was a painful night would be an understatement
Throw in McClain saying that this is the stand out guy in his mind and I’m pretty excited to see him. I didn’t realize he was so tough at the point of contact
Trevor Goosby their starting LT was injured lately. Bone bruise in the left knee.
From my research mild issue would be 3 weeks, moderate issue 3-6 weeks, extreme 6+ weeks.
Our game is 4 weeks away. Would imagine a game time decision.
Interesting that Luke is pushing Tavian for the back up QB spot too. Birm said it last week and now Day goes out of his way to say he’s serious when he says Luke is doing well.
Also, never doubted for a moment that Bo wasn’t going to be the starter. You just don’t push aside a 1k true freshman...
Obviously I’ll see this one in theater. Big Captain fan so it’ll be interesting to see how they navigate a villain apparently capable of pushing Thor aside like he’s nothing. Doesn’t bode well for Captain America but then again I bet that means it’ll be Captain who saves the day.
Only thing that sucks reading these things this year is knowing we had 3 studs (Styles, Reese, and Downs) and didn’t get it done. What a defense 2025 was.
So happy to see the reports about Reese etc
For sure, you’d just hope we find a good balance of rotation and also we get players out of the game once the game is won. If we are up 28-0 in the third start getting the stars out.
That was the first back to come to mind TBH. But that was 3 decades ago so I was going for anything recent.
Bottom line is we don’t let RBs beat us. We just don’t.
Sorry to break it to Peoples but no one named Rocco is beating OSU either,
We will certainly be tested more this year. The prevailing sentiment is that this team might be the deepest we’ve had under Ryan Day.
The DL should rotate far more, the LBs have 4 dudes, and the secondary is stacked. Legit might have 20 big contributors on defense.
If there’s a year to have...
Defensive line is going to be bigger than past fronts. Every DT is over 300, the defensive ends are both 6’6’ 260+.
All reports are they’re giving the OL everything they can handle so far which is great considering the OL will be among the best.
Most here forget how hurt JK was after the Clemson game. Would’ve entirely depended on JKs health.
Also, the defense sort of was figured out that year toward the end. 21 to Rutgers, 27 to TCUN, 21 to Wisconsin and 29 to Clemson.
Would’ve been a great offensive game IMO.
Per Birm and Austin, offense went 5 wide and put Bey in as a WR. Not a motion into the backfield 5 wide either but a true empty formation.
Interesting, and I’d imagine quick screens to Bey will be in order (then play action off the screen).
That said Birm and Austin said he’s had a rougher than expected start to camp. I guess the kid from Notre Dame has an enormous leg but struggles a bit with the whole accuracy thing.
Any rate, maybe he’s a gamer where he’s better when pressure is on?
