Should be the best OL we've had in quite some time, or close to it. I think just about any OL would get dunked on by Indiana and Miami's defensive fronts in the form they were at come playoff time. They'll be better for it.
Love this addition, he's one that might slip under the radar a tad in the overall class but one that I think will contribute early and be a great player here. Welcome aboard!
I really think we'll be in good shape at LB. I see a mix of Alliegro, Pettijohn, Pierce and Alford this year without one particular guy breaking out (in a good way, meaning they'll all be more than capable and will perform at a high level).
YUGE recruiting weekend. I'm holding out hope on landing Sales...mostly with the Hankton relationship on top of WR U. Might not prevail but I'm all about swinging for the fences on him. Really like to see Moss visiting as well, he's one I'm mildly optimistic on landing that I don't think many...
For sure. We're making bold moves in the right areas, finally not being such cheap bastards, and making tough decisions. Plus I really like last year's rookie class...yeah we had a shit season, but it let us play them a ton early and eventually they started shining. I wouldn't be surprised if...
I like that strategy, especially with how we've utilized the Portal. Plus Ohio is really producing talent lately and we can fill up a good bit of the class at home without dumping out the coffers for a good bit of those guys.
Any combo of those 3 would be massive, but I don't think that's outside the realm of possibility at all. I'd be equally excited to land any of them, but Easter would just go off in our offense alongside Jamier. That's explosive on another level.
DT recruiting as a whole has lagged for the majority of my days following recruiting for whatever reason. Sure we've had some individual studs, but the units as a whole haven't been great many years. I'm a broken record here, but championship teams have dominant DTs almost without exception (and...
Howard was about damn perfect in deciding to run or throw. He was a decent athlete, but his decisiveness was the key. I think that can be learned, so I think Julian can get that decision making skill down. Lord knows the talent is there and he's a decent enough athlete.
Definitely a kid you don't stop recruiting. Kid is going to electric at the next level, if we could pull off the coup here and have him and Jamier lining up together... there is going to be one lucky QB in the future.
