Would echo that and point out that we snipe high level talent in the portal at positions of need. When it's all said and done, this class should be top 5 easy and probably top 3.
Olave is the exact comparison I had. Droves of production and silky smooth in and out of his cuts. Plenty fast enough to go with the finer detail he appreciates at the position. Playing at such a high level of competition and having a great program to be coached at had to help him coming in as well.
And then you could go down the list to Ben Martin and that whole class that seemed catastrophic to miss. Whoever BuckeyeNation is must have forgot some of those times or wasn't around for them. Those misses were also compounded by the fact that our national recruiting was nowhere near what it is...
DGG is everything a RB should look like and run like. In a world where RB became viewed as less valuable and RBs interchangeable, DGG stands apart as worth swinging for the fences on.
I'm sure this will come off as homerism after he picked us, but I've been of the opinion Moss is a fringe 5* since I watched his film (camp and game). He'll need some work on weight distribution and technique, but really that's 95% of OL recruits coming out of HS (or more). Moss has all the...
Extremely well said and exactly how I see this situation. I like Torbert and would have been happy to see him in this class. But given our needs in this class and allocation of NIL $ that needs to go to the trenches (and looks like it is), we don't need to get crazy weight NIL here. And if he...
This DL class is shaping up to be MONSTER and we needed that more than anything for this class (pretty sure that's how I concluded my BRPT class review for the last cycle). May is the exact DT that we need to be landing to stay up at the top, we've seen the difference guys like KMac can make in...
Just saw a video announcing Moss as a conundrum to Ohio State and breaking down his film, but it was pulled down. Perhaps the gato accidentally got out of the bag early? Fingers crossed.
Really feel the same here. Bailey is a developmental guy with high potential, but maybe him developing elsewhere and taking a look again if he's in the Portal is not the worst thing in the world. Would have liked to have him in this class, but we're going to be just fine where he would've...
