They definitely tried all they could to give it away in that 6th inning
Ellis had 2 pretty bad errors, but him throwing out the 2nd guy trying to score at home after the 2nd error of the inning probably saved the game.
Hopefully they can put together a clean defensive game against whoever...
Basketball is probably the easiest sport to influence without getting caught unless you really do something stupid to give proof of it. The NBA is by far my least favorite pro sport and it has been that way for a long time (probably since the mid 2000s) It seems to just get worse as the years...
Queue up more of the "WE'VE NEVER SEEN A QB LIKE THIS!" type crap.
Guy didn't improve at all as the season progressed last year and in the spring game he looked exactly the same that he did last year. SURE "just getting his feet wet"
Herrenbruck 4-0 with a 1.67 ERA in his final 4 starts of the season (Including 7 innings of 1 run ball against a upper level Nebraska team). He's not really in the mold of a guy who goes pro after his JR year, always a chance someone tries to poach him from us but hopefully they can retain him...
Buckeye win 3-2 to stay alive!
Some dramatics at the end but Herrenbruck with a complete game, crucial to save arms going forward.
Will play the loser of scUM/Washington tomorrow to move on
It should be 1-1 or maybe even 1-0 still, not sure if Ellis woulda been able to turn the double play on his error but he shoulda gotten the out at 2nd at least. Fortunate they were able to throw the 2nd runner out at home on the 2nd error to keep it at 2-1.
