A non-conference game against a school like Cincinnati is more important than a divisional game on the road? I get the hate for PSU, and I really would love to blow Cincinnati out of the water, but to say one is more important than the other disdain aside seems odd to me.
I agree on your point on Va Tech. I was just trying to figure out out some could possibly put PSU as the 5th most important game and could only come with 2 solid games that were more important and was throwing in Va Tech for that posters benefit.
At least you are getting treated better than I did for bringing up similar points. God speed. lol
I think someone mentioned the PSU game being the 5th and he was being generous as the most important game on this year's schedule. Obviously the Michigan is #1, with Michigan State being #2, and...
As a Spurs fan and Buckeye/Craft fan I don't think that is possible unless the Spurs lose Patty Mills in free agency. As it stands now they already have 3 PGs on the roster. I would like to seem him in the Spurs summer league so that he can work with Chip Englland to work on getting the hitch...
Right after he announced he was not returning most mocks had him in the mid to late second round. He must not have shown very well at the draft workouts and such to not even get drafted.
Looks a case of bad advice got the better of him. Hopefully he learns from it and makes better decisions...
The field turf has a "shelf" life of 8 to 10 years. This was year 8 and the turf contractor was already on campus doing other projects. Essentially a combo deal since the equipment/labor was already on site.
Did the coaches and players not respect one another either? Maybe, maybe not I don't know, do you?. "Never" is such a strong word.
If you were that would have been impreesive.
I see your point on that and my counter point would be that Ohio State historically has been domiant over both Sparty and Wisconsin and that both programs in the short term have been better secondary teams within the past 5 years for several reasons. I can't deny that. I just wonder if those...
No devotion really, and I have explained that before. I had a good debate with Zurp on this topic sometime last fall. I explained my full thoughts on it as did he in a polite way.
That is a two-way street. You can chastise me on scarcastic, but others in here are doing it as well, yet you...
No kidding Sherlock. So you are telling me that if that same thing happened at Minnesota there would be over an 800 page thread you are kidding yourself.
At least some posters like Zurp were willing to be polite and debate me. You just after insult after insult. You showed your true worth...
Just to play devil advocate OSU owns winning percentages of .754 (Iowa), .741 (Wisky), .700 (MSU), and .679 (Illinois) of the teams you mentioned during Big Ten play. All of those percentages are greater than the winning percentage over PSU (.650) during Big Ten games.
Also your last comment...
Why do you think I care so much? I just find it funny on the excuses on why Penn State can't and never will be a rivalry, especially people who think because SCUM is our main rivalry we can't have another, like there are not other major schools in the country that do not have two rivalry games...
It does, but I still would lie to see it with my own eyes in games that count. I think that will become a reality based upon what I have been reading, but seeing is believing (in real games).
Marc will get plenty of run next year with Q leaving. Hopefully he puts in a solid off season and continues to improve so that he can improve upon his freshman season.
Up until the 5:24 mark of the 2nd half Q seemed to be having his most complete game as a Buckeye. He appeared much more focused on the defensive end and getting his hand into a player to knock the ball loose. I did like to see a little emotion out of Q since he seems like a robot most of the...
I believe he lost his second appeal and is done playing at tOSU.
Shame the NCAA didn't grant him the extra year with the foot issue his freshmen year and the ankle injury this year and the total time he missed.
