LB Coach James Laurinaitis (2x B1G DPOY, 2006 Nagurski, 2007 Butkus, 2008 Lott, 3x All-American, OSU HOF, National Champion, CFB HOF)

I'm as biased as it gets but I think this man will be the head coach at OSU someday. Great with the kids and developing them, personable, well spoken, and he just fucking gets it.

Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

Christ, forgot about those guys. Needless to say, I think the depth on the edge is legit.

    2025 tOSU Defense Discussion

I've been thinking about this a lot. KMac was an animal production wise but he truly was the anchor schematically. I like the talent they've brought in on the edge and the interior. Intrigued to see how the defense changes with a very different set of personnel.

Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

Yea, adding those two would have been welcomed but we look pretty solid, depth wise on the edge this year. Kenyatta, Zion, Beau, Epi, adding Wilder and Alliegro (although not sure where he's gonna be lining up primarily) is a solid group. Unless you're an All American, that's not exactly an...

    2026 tOSU Offense Discussion

Imagine the irony. Day gets brought in in 2017 to fix Urban and JTs stale, archaic offense. Ten years later, Day brings on JT to modernize his offense. Full circle and all that.

Buckeye Planet NOT shutting down (Plum Diamonds)

How dare you coerce me into making an emotional post. Seriously though, couldn't be happier

DE Kenyatta Jackson (All B1G, National Champion)

Coleman would have been nice but I don't think his impact would be quite that big year one. I think Zion is a much better option from what I've seen in limited time. Huge news with Kenyatta, I think he's gonna have a dominant year.

Buckeye Planet NOT shutting down (Plum Diamonds)

I was gonna say, if you guys are taking monetary assistance I wouldn't mind helping out where I can. Wouldn't be much but worth it to me to try to help.

Where the hell do I go now haha Been here since I was 13, appreciate all the great stuff from you guys over the years. Grew up a bit with this place, a sad day indeed. Best wishes to you all

    WR Devin McCuin (Official Thread)

Yup, this team wasn't quite as good as I thought they were, but they were absolutely good enough to win it all. Hope McCuin likes doing the dirty work, we need that energy on O.

Also, they couldn't (or just didn't) block until Chip Kelly showed up.

CB Aaron Scott Jr. (National Champion, transfer to Oregon)

As do I. I think all the change is actually great for college football. Just fearful of how great/not great it might be for OSU.

CB Aaron Scott Jr. (National Champion, transfer to Oregon)

Oh I'm with you, I understand my viewpoint is completely selfish, irrational, and based on unfounded fear of the future. Still my viewpoint though.

CB Aaron Scott Jr. (National Champion, transfer to Oregon)

I mean, as a fan of a blue blood, you're right, and you can count me into that group as well. Fuck parity, I wanna see the historical giants go at it, and the fact that it benefitted my favorite team more than others is absolutely part of that. Nothing could possibly interest me in natty...

    2026 tOSU Offense Discussion

It was McCord-esque. I believe in Julian as the guy going forward, but the whole idea of bringing him along slowly blew up in OSUs face massively come crunch time. Should have been pushed in his development more.

2025 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

Agreed, frankly most of what I listed will never happen, but an expansion to 16 would increase the overall number of games or keep it the same, even with losing the CCs. But yes, you're entirely right on how it would be divided up. I would also love to see CFB work like the NFL, where the...
