    Asinine Conspiracies

When my wife fucks up.... I mean if she ever fucks up, which I'm sure she won't because she never has and I don't know what I was thinking there, my response will be "Sorry honey. I'll try harder not to do whatever I did to cause that in the future."

Well, you’re the one who got her pregnant, right? But for that, the bathroom incident does not happen. With but-for causation, you can shift the blame for anything to anyone.

I doubt OSU would act inconsistently with the SCOTUS decision either. But I also doubt that facts matter to the current leaders of the justice department with high profile cases like this one. If they send you a letter and announce it on social media, they’ve probably decided to make an example...

Remember what happened when OSU cooperated with the NCAA on the tattoo incident? And the NCAA is like Mother Teresa compared to these guys. Cooperation in the current environment is for suckers. You cooperate, and they rake you over the coals anyway. Better to go to court and make them work for it.

Resulting Oil costs (and not politics)

I believe that’s correct. As a result, gas stations do well when the price is rising and get killed when the price is falling. Some big chains might buy futures/swaps/options to hedge against price volatility, but I doubt the independent operators could manage that.

SEC (It just means more.. even its losses are wins)

Having a large alumni base is certainly an advantage, but I wonder what the Venn diagram between dues paying alumni and alumni that spend money on/donate money to the football program looks like for various universities. Are the dues paying alumni typically athletic department supporters...
