  1. Visiting LSU fans: please read

True, but the Warriors pay in sea shells and coconut meat.
  2. Just Curious: What's your honest opinion of LSU?

For Tiger fans: what effect, if any, will be the absence of Pellini for your D? I'm assuming Mr. P. being new HC at Nebraska, will no longer coach at LSU. Any thouhts?
  3. Buckeyes from your hometown/HS

Euclid: Don Vicic Robert Smith Pepe Pearson Thad Gibson
  4. QB Joe Bauserman (official thread)

Wait a second. With all the activity surrounding our QBs' acquisitions, it truly could be "intensive purposes." :tongue2:
  5. OBSTERVASHUNS FROM THE PLAYROOM

    Eight, that's a ten.
  6. WR Ray Small (official thread)

As Small gains a bit more ball handling sophistication it's gonna be fun just to watch. He's already a heady threat with every touch.
  7. RB Brandon "Zoom" Saine (official thread)

Saine's running reminds me of "Clyde the Glide" Thomas, (I think), an outstanding RB with the Dallas Cowboys back in the '70s; didn't stick around too long because of personal issues, but he had deceptive speed and the smoothest stride in nfl at the time. Great to watch D's misjudge angles on...
  8. 2007 tOSU Defense

When our D is put on automatic demolition they are blaze'n bullets.
  9. Game Thread Ohio State 33, Washington 14 (Final)

Hopefully, JT and staff gameplan will crank up the "yards per carry" to about 5.6, the "air war yardage" to roughly 82 yards per quarter, the turn over margin to a "plus 3", the Beanie Boost Supercharger to 134% and add a Small emphasis on all K/O's and P/Rs. We can then sit back a watch.:wink2:
  10. QB Todd Boeckman (official thread)

TB moves inexorably toward stardom! I'm thinking, once in the saddle, he's going to surprise us all...on the upside.
  11. 2007 Kickoff Changes

Authorities want to reduce t-backs plain and simple. Puts more emphasis on kickoff talent and general ST's speed. I think Tiller has a point, but Bucks should fall on positive side of ledger.
  12. Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 38, Youngstown St. 6 (final)

Mili...off of football, but I hope that storm doesn't knock over your black&tan supplies.
  13. Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 38, Youngstown St. 6 (final)

I appreciate Penguinpower's remarks. Seems to me the "Ohio factor" makes us all brothers, so to speak. My family has roots in NE Ohio that extend into yesterday's Youngstown, Struthers and Akron. I'm happy JT has elected to spread the $$ into YSU's program, and, I wouldn't take their team lightly.
  14. Official Statistical Analysis Thread

DBB: Your stat analyses is as formidable as JT's TEAMs! Good show. Excuse me whilst I gird my loins to give your tome a second look.
  15. OC/WR Coach Brian Hartline (National Champion, HC at USF)

That hit(s) was set-up by AG, but it happened so quickly as Gonzo cut back extra hard...Hartline didn't miss a beat in his one-in-a-season multi-whack, just in time. Quite beautiful.
  16. OC/WR Coach Brian Hartline (National Champion, HC at USF)

I recall his Mom's quotes on how much he seeks out contact...since he was a little kid. Enjoys hitting and stick'n his nose into trouble. Great football attitude, along with some classy moves and speeeeed.
  17. flashback to '57...some similarities

I was lucky to watch that season's home games. Woody at his most basic.
  18. Top Coaches in College Football (Merged All)

Where's the weasel's llllloyd? The weasels have a commendable total record since '97, but as this opinion notes, no cigar for Voyd. :( Gosh, I'm disappointed.
  19. RB Brandon "Zoom" Saine (official thread)

Opponents will need velcro to tackle these gents.
