ex-Cleveland Browns Head Coach Romeo Crennel (official thread)

Romeo Crennel is recognized as one of the top assistant coaches in the NFL. Last season, Crennel served as the coordinator of a record-setting defensive unit while celebrating his fourth Super Bowl championship. He was recognized by the Pro Football Writers of America as the NFL’s Assistant...

ex-Cleveland Browns Head Coach Romeo Crennel (official thread)

Prof, I don't hear Grimm's name that much. He could sneak in I guess. Woodyworship, I'm hearing it's Crennel for 2 reasons...1, he's a Belichick disciple and 2., he's a no nonsense guy that his players love to play for. Disciplinarian, something Davis was not. Could be Childress...

ex-Cleveland Browns Head Coach Romeo Crennel (official thread)

Romeo Crennel appears to be the frontrunner for the Browns job. Other top candidates are Robiskie, Brad Childress (OC for the Eagles), and Jeff Bates (DC for Miami) I'll be really happy if he gets it. This is the kind of guy the Browns have needed for awhile. Maybe we'll see the 3-4 now? If he...

    Underrated guitar players

Doug Martch.....Lead for Built to Spill. He's incredible, especially live. Few people have heard of him but he's as good as just about anyone.

QB Justin Zwick (B1G Champion, National Champion)

Griz, don't worry about it. There has just been so many posts concerning the subject and Zwick recently denied it all. I think it's a matter of alot of us just tired of the subject.

Fox News Report: Phil Savage- Browns New GM

I am as happy as a yak in heat about this. Savage has such an amazing ability to pick the right players in the draft. This guy was one of those responsible for Ray Lewis, Ogden, Boulware, Ed Reed, etc...etc....Great pickup. Fassel may be a candidate but I don't think Savage has any real ties...

'05 OH ATH Alex Daniels (Minnesota signee, transfer to Cincinnati)

I'm not at all surprsied he's going to a place like Minny. He comes off like a kid that wants to be the star, have all the attention, and it shows after nearly every play he makes not matter how small..he's always getting up and flexing or dancing around or something. This doesn't bother me...

Andy Geiger- Retired Athletic Director (Merged all relevant threads)

I agree, Akak..he's a great guy and has done a great job but I kept hearing he was gonna take the fall for this..just the kind of guy he is. Now, I'm a little nervous about Tressel.

Andy Geiger- Retired Athletic Director (Merged all relevant threads)

I thought Geiger would be the fall guy in this...whether it comes out like that or not, he's losing his career over this shit.

    Browns Draft

Leinart's only problem is the wobble but it doesn't look that bad...his thumb looks to stiff when he throws it sometimes, but like you saif Thump, it's usually easier to catch. Akak, I think Matty is gonna be meeting Mr. Montana soon. If he stays another year he's stupid..I'll respect that...

    Browns Draft

I've always thought Leinart was the better pick over Rodgers..after seeing last night's spectacle, can anyone say they'd be mad if he came out early and Cleveland picked him? Man, he's gonna make a pro team very happy some day.

Where will the Bucks get drafted?

I'd say Nuge is a second rounder but could slip to 3. That's where Kaeding was taken last year. Fraser is around a 3rd-4th rounder mainly because of experience and run stopping abilities. Probably 4th. Ross and Hall...hmmmmm. Ross may very well be a 7th rounder Fox...4th round...

    Browns Draft

go ahead and bet your vcash cause you're gonna lose. It's just my opinion on something I am familiar with, that's all. who doesn't audible alot? Do you watch football much? Any kid at QB in college that takes control of the offense like he does is worth something. and unless Rodgers plays...

    Browns Draft

After watching Auburn again last night I think Ronnie Brown may be the best back in the draft. Dude has skills. Probably because he's NFL ready, perfect mechanics, a gun for an arm, and he audibles constantly which makes him smart obviously. the system is a pro system. I'll take the product...

    Browns Draft

I think grabbing Brees is a great idea and he'd probably go for it but what will happen with both Garcia and Holcomb? They are both under contract. I really like James. I know he's an injury risk but I haven't seen anyone more dominant than him this year. Probably not worth the #3 pick though...

    Browns Draft

Kiawanuku is gonna be a stud but he's raw as shit and hardly a polished product. I think the Browns picked, oh about, 20 of those too many since 1999. No thanks. I like James. I think he's a top 10 all the way. About the draft order, I thought head to head comes into effect first, then it...

    Browns Draft

Maybe some moron like Ditka will offer the whole draft to Clev to move up now I'm really confused on the draft order...I guess Miami had the worse SOS between themselves and Cleveland so they get the #2 pick. That's gay.

    Browns Draft

ESPN just changed Cleveland to the #2 pick..I thought something was strange since Miami beat them. #2 pick? Gonna take a whole hell of alot. one scenario I could see is Oakland trading up from #5 to get Cadillack, Benson, or Mike Williams. Clev could get a #2 or a #1 next year for that easy
  19. GoofyBuckeye

    Browns Draft

The Chargers got a #1 and a #2 in 2001 plus a #1 in 2002 + Tim Dwight for moving down 4 spots with Atlanta. The Browns would be moving down 9 spots. Trust me, it will take more than both of SD's #1 to get that #3 pick. a #2 pick this year or a #1 next year would be needed..maybe a #2 pick next...

    Browns Draft

it's so friggin stupid why Cleveland doesn't get the #2 pick since they lost to Miami. if San Diego does indeed trade up to #3 to get Mike Williams, Cleveland would need more than the #12 and the #29. It just wouldn't be worth that in my eyes. Throw in a first rounder next year then a deal...
