I'm being honest when I ask this....
Do you think he even realizes what they were doing at Michigan to make him successful? I think it's highly likely he thinks he was "that good".
Not trying to be that guy…….but he really wasn’t very good in Columbus until Michigan beat their ass.
Then they opened it up.
But regular season……not very good.
Admittedly, I had things to do around half-time and couldnt watch with the focus I typically like.
That said, I was really bummed Graham didn’t get an opportunity to shine today. I kind of thought maybe they were giving Adolph the reps on Senior day……
Bummed Mylan isnt getting any run today….is he also banged up??
Would be really surprised if David Adolph is ahead of him on depth chart….nothing against David, but that’d be a bit concerning.
I’m OK with the start…..still working Garland back. Still without Max Strus.
A lot of mins are going to guys who won’t be in rotation come back half of season.
I mentioned it earlier this year, but no need to evaluate them now. They aren’t attacking the regular season like they have in past.
Beyond that, it feels like we live in 2 & 3 TE sets anymore….that has to be appealing bc it means larger snap count and ability to get on the field early.
It’s one thing to poke fun at him, but then see him build an 8 game winning team after what that had program had turned into…….but then see he didn’t have a single off-season practice as he dealt with organ failure and cancer, had no input on the roster for a large chunk of time…..and...
I still don’t get the amount of hate personally….his ground rules for athletes going to class is solid. His rules on what they wear to class is even better. His rule they sit in the first (2) rows is nice.
That program was dust until he’s revived some hope and talent into it.
I just think...
Somewhat interesting.....I think A-Rod has a relatively short leash right now with how the offense has looked last few weeks. I think Howard impressed enough prior to injury that he'd likely get first look ahead of Mason Rudolph who has shown what he's capable of.
The most annoying aspect to me is the clear impact it had on his ability to get outs. Shows how superior he thought he was to just waste a first pitch. Clase sucked at the beginning of the year and its because he was always behind in counts.
Moron.....and it absolutely contributed to a rocky...
Pure speculation but I think he either aggravated something during gameweek or has been nursing a minor injury for several weeks….and they told him to take this week off.
I said it last year, but OSU now runs this roster like an NFL squad. They’re overly precautious to protect players...
I get it….CJ is also known for pass protection so I honestly think they thought they could get a “free” 5-6 yards but as we’ve seen, nothing is “free” in this run game.
I truly think the thought process there, is we get at least 5 on 1st we’re getting aggressive on 2nd and 3rd and looking for a...
That’s the beauty with Arvell…his technique is off the charts combined with his versatility.
I think my favorite play this year, was his fake pass rush against Washington where he came down hard like he was on the blitz, only to hit the brakes, sit down for a split second, and then become a spy...
I didn’t like the play call either but saying it was “going soft” in that moment is a little off, IMO.
A lot of play callers call a similar play in that situation, hoping defense is playing pass and you pick up a decent chunk of yards on 1st down to set-up a manageable 2nd down.
Assuming he...
The best part is Miami, FSU, & Clemson fans all think the ACC conference is intentionally torpedoing their seasons bc they have an axe to grind over these teams looking to jump ship for the SEC or Big 10.
