Bama wasn’t the hard-to-kill team, they just didn’t completely mess themselves throughout the final 3 quarters.
Bama might get a few big plays on Indiana, but I can’t imagine their duct tape OL giving Ty nearly enough time to do much outside of that.
It’s crazy how perfectly this game started for Oklahoma. Their team needs a big lead to run Urban Meyer’s old offense and pin their ears back on defense to make up for holes in the secondary.
They had exactly what they needed and collapsed before halftime.
I thought Okie would go for it, and then the punter drops the fucking ball.
They still look completely outmatched on the LOS on offense, but now they have momentum.
That was the case in ‘23, but I think all these 13 /14 personnel packages are Hartline’s take on this offense. It’s the same as the beginning of ‘23 before Day took over.
The playoffs may be different with Hartline having less time to dedicate to the game plan.
He’s a breathing human who has called plays. Successfully? That answer has apparently been lost to time. Looking forward to option to the boundary.
I forgot that Herman also hired him at Texas. Must be a great hype man or have dirt on everyone.
I don’t understand the desire to go to a program steeped in scandal with a rotten AD. Doesn’t speak well of anyone who’d take the job. I doubt we see any further punishment, but why risk it with an untrustworthy admin and roster in flux?
