It’s crazy how perfectly this game started for Oklahoma. Their team needs a big lead to run Urban Meyer’s old offense and pin their ears back on defense to make up for holes in the secondary. They had exactly what they needed and collapsed before halftime.

That was the case in ‘23, but I think all these 13 /14 personnel packages are Hartline’s take on this offense. It’s the same as the beginning of ‘23 before Day took over. The playoffs may be different with Hartline having less time to dedicate to the game plan.
