Miami’s the harder matchup, but I don’t think it was a huge difference. Miami has a consistent passing game.
If they can get through the first few drives only giving up 0-3 points, OSU can adjust a bit, get Beck in bad situations, and get sacks and turnovers. Get a lead and exhaust their DL...
At least it’s forcing them to be more creative. Hard to be surprised by gimmicks now.
Miami’s pass rush and passing game aren’t insurmountable or even the best we’ve seen, but they’ll be annoying. If they win.
Not sure I want OSU running a lot of stretch plays against either team with how aggressive they are. Interesting choice on a short field with a minute to go.
Feels like both teams need to run the ball more. Hope OSU comes out with more runs and constraints to make sure either team doesn’t run straight up the field.
If they’re healthy, we’ll know after the playoffs. They’re the two best WRs and one of them is going to go off if Sayin has enough time. Defense gets to pick who that is.
After Wisconsin and PSU, I started thinking they were the best duo OSU has ever had. Best combo of size, athleticism, and...
Bama would be far easier, but I’d prefer to beat Indiana.
In order of threat, I’d say it’s Georgia, Indiana, TTech. Georgia has the highest talent and Kirby will kidnap a ref’s kid to get a call, Tech’s front 7 causes the most chaos, and IU has the experience and runs the best defensive system.
Whatever gives us Cignetti running hurry up and going for 2 down 28 with 3 minutes left in the 4th is cool with me.
Bama is too one dimensional to pull it off, but their meltdowns last year and mediocre games against good defensive talent this season would keep me from betting on them.
