Doesn’t really matter if he didn’t bet against the Reds. He didn’t bet every game. He made the lineup. He pulled the pitchers. He knew who was banged up and not likely to produce. He could stack the deck, so to speak, to increase their chances of winning some games…so that’s when he would bet.

I thought the conference champions got an automatic bid and first round bye under the new for at least now 12 team championship rules? The Committee had no power to keep UGA out of the playoffs, no matter how many players got hurt or otherwise left the team.
