Edited to add that I didn’t realize the rules allow the winner of a P4 conference championship to be left out of the playoffs.
They’re being penalized for losing to a hapless Florida, and rightly so. Their out of conference schedule also included powerhouses San Jose State, UTEP, and Sam Houston.

Other than Georgia (their only loss) and Oklahoma, Old Miss has been racking up wins against the bottom half of the SEC and out of conference stiffs. Not sure they’re as good as the CFP rankings indicate they are.
I don’t remember what other year they went undefeated, but a 12-0 UCF beat Auburn in the 2018 Peach Bowl.

So are all college sports going to be part of this new entity, or just men's football and basketball? If it is all sports, I think this could be the beginning of the end for the non-revenue sports.
