They BOTH had hands on the ball in the air. Which would be shared possession, offense's ball... I 100% agree with this, and thought for sure that was going to be the case. BUT, since they're in the air, the play has to carry on through the ground. SO, as seen in the replays, the receiver lands...

I don't recall the leadup to that play, and the refs weren't flagging anything that wasn't that blatant up to that point, but if the db makes contact playing the ball, then that's typically allowed anyway. He came away with the pick, so it's not like he wasn't playing the ball. I've stated...
