A lot of posts in this thread have not aged well. Indiana is a very solid team. All year, people have been posting about how weak their schedule is, without realizing that the accusations about Ohio State's schedule also had some credibility.
They can be beaten by Ohio State, but Ohio State...
I had insight into some of the sports conversations of their top echelons for many years. They are entitled, toxic, and deluded. You don't bring that into your house. You let it find reality and wither in the wilderness.
I guess the issue is that the toughest games on their schedule are the warmup games everyone else is playing at the start of the season. And they will get blown out.
Our conversations are silent on the two teams from Mickey Mouse conferences that crawl in because...participation trophy. JMU? Stunning 4th quarter win against 5-6 Washington State? If I was a ND fan, I'd be asking why in the hell those guys get an auto bid.

I am in agreement. I've been stuck in-between executive positions during my career. There was always a plethora of issues that arrived at the destination and it was very hard to pay sufficient attention to the issues that still needed completion at the former job. I think so highly of...
The more I think about it, the effort to beat TCUN and that emotional release seems to have left Ohio State flat.
I also hope that we have another place kicker. He nearly missed the first one as well. It is enough with this guy.
I agree. Drop the "we're so special, we'll lower ourselves to play in your conference for this sport, etc."
Join a conference...or leave the impression that you are afraid you could lose a lower tier bowl game too. You won't be missed.
