    DE Melvin Fellows (official thread)

he is similar to Rob Rose, though I think Rose was even bigger at this stage. Fellows could end up being a 290 lb. DE that can kick inside to DT on passing downs or he could be a 275 big DE like Michael Strahan or Julius Peppers.

DB Corey "Pittsburgh" Brown (DB Coach Slippery Rock Univ.)

Barnett looks like more of a zone coverage guy who does better with the play in front of him like the tampa 2 corners in the NFL....Brown seems like a guy who does great in man-to-man coverage and can really make plays on the ball like Chris Gamble or that traitor who won the heisman at TSUN.

'09 VA QB Kevin Newsome (Penn State signee - transfer to Temple)

Newsome committed to Penn State. Don't have linkage yet though, the articles will be out soon. Good get for the Big Ten

    LB Scott McVey (official thread)

Great news. I hope we keep him away from that sinking ship in South Bend.

'10 OH RB Erick Howard (Ohio U Walk-On)

way to go Erick! Man I hope we end up offering this kid. He kinda reminds me of Maurice Jones-Drew on his film.

    S/LB Jer'Male Hines (official thread)

This guy just makes plays. He's perfect for the college game today with all the spread offenses and 3+ WR sets since he's a real OLB/SS tweener. I think there's a great chance that he replaces Freeman as our starting Sam linebacker next year which will really make our defense dynamic since we...

'09 TN WR Marlon Brown (Georgia Signee)

who's position is the x receiver right now? it's robiskie right?

'09 TN WR Marlon Brown (Georgia Signee)

there's a lot more to an official visit than how a team performs. some officials happen after the regular season is over. I'd be more insterested in how he liked the campus, atmosphere, coaches, and players than anything.

OL Michael Brewster (Asst. OL Coach Washington)

yeah, we're not gonna take out boone or cordle. person has been playing well and browning hasn't been bad but he like person does make mistakes from time to time. I still think it'll be the original lineup from the first 3 games with Brewster playing 50-60% of the game unless they just keep...

OL Michael Brewster (Asst. OL Coach Washington)

I think the Oline probably goes back to Boone/Rehring/Cordle/Person/Browning now that Steve is back...but I think Brewster plays at least half the snaps at center with Person and probably Rehring rotating in and out. That's what they should do anyway, Person has been playing better finally and...

RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

"ligament damage" sounds nasty but they say to expect Beanie to play against USC, so I guess it can't be as bad as it sounds. I hope he looks like his old self when he does play.

OL Marcus Hall (The Bird Man of Ann Arbor)

yeah, but I'm pretty sure that their blocking scheme isn't what Michigan is using right now that doesn't showcase NFL type talent. That is why WVU had all those all american type Olinemen and none of them were good draft prospects.

'10 OH ATH Spencer Ware (LSU signee)

Not sure any big time school would offer him as a QB though except maybe WVU. Remember Orhian Johnson picked us to play DB over QB at Indiana or USF b/c that's where his pro potential lies. I think playing the pro potential card for Ware might work out since it's definitely at RB and not QB.

'09 FL DB Brandon McGee (Miami-FL Verbal)

I found this on some Miami message board: "I will not be picking Miami," he said. "It's down to Tennessee, FSU and Ole Miss." McGee says he still has a Cane offer. And he attended practice at UM today. Asked if something happened today that caused Miami to not make the final 3...

OL Marcus Hall (The Bird Man of Ann Arbor)

Well I think he could definitely be in the two deep his freshman year if he's good enough. We'll probably have Shugarts and Adams starting at tackle and nothing behind them is except Josh Kerr and Andy Miller. Well Browning and a couple other guys can play tackle but they are really guards...

'09 AZ DT Corey Adams (Arizona State Signee)

I'm liking our chances with Corey with every new day. I was very pessimistic about a month ago or less, now I'm fairly optomistic. It would be something to pull in 3 five star defensive linemen this year in Simon, Adams, and Fellows. If we get Adams then we'll have gotten Goebel, Rowell...

    CBF40's Look at '10 recruiting

I'm surprised I haven't seen Tim Caillet mentioned on this thread. 6'5", 220 lb. tight end from Canal Fulton. I hear the staff has their eye on him.

'09 KY ATH Justin Green (Illinois Signee)

We have Wood, Barnett, and Clarke in the bag and it sounds like Brown, Green, and maybe even McDougald too could all join them before the month is out. Emilien is in too but that probably won't be public until July or so. If we get all those guys then it doesn't look good for McGee one would...

DE Jamel Turner (Butler Community College; transfer to Akron)

Definitely looks like he has the frame to carry some good weight to me. Thaddeus Gibson type frame. At worst can be a Curtis Terry type LB who can rush the passer off the edge if he can't max out any more than 230-240 lbs. instead of 250+. Lots of DEs are around his size at that age, not much...
