I'm not sure what is going on with the offense, but two things are clear.
1- Tempo with JT is what this team needs.
2- This team bought into the preseason hype and is not playing like a hungry group.
Perhaps Meyer should bring in the 2nd team offensive line to start the 3rd quarter to make...
I will take 38-0 any day of the week. Our defense was outstanding today. The back 7 on d is probably the best in the nation. Vonn Bell is playing like an all American, top 20 pick. As for the offense, does anyone remember how the o fared in week 2 last season? Enough said.
As for the QB...
Here is my rabbit in the hat.....Run Zeke right at the teeth of the Va. Tech defense and pummel them physically from play one until the backups are through with them in the 4th quarter. No need to get fancy on offense. ...just iine up and beat the hell out of them physically like we did to...
I'm just going to bump Campbell's thread because I have a feeling he's going to make some plays this year. With Brown out, one of these young receivers will have to step up. My money is on Campbell. This kid is going to be a gamer. He's lightning quick and seems very big for his speed...
Clarett was the first player that I every saw capture the Horseshoe in the palm of his hand as a freshman. I was always sad for him to see him fall off and never took joy in seeing his demise. With that said, I'm incredibly happy for him and his family that he's spreading his story to so many...
Ohio State will win this game by 21 points or more. I fully expect them to struggle for a half, but in the third quarter we'll wear them down and show the nation that Ohio State is everything that we expected them to be. I agree with Saw and laughed when I read his 95 Nebraska analogy earlier...
Braxton has a better arm, JT has better touch and leads his receivers better.
In my opinion I think Jones should cash in right now because he's not guaranteed to start next year. Either way, he's always a Buckeye.
Its going to be tough next week. I think we will rely a lot on the run, obviously. With that said, I have full faith in our staff to develop a plan to win that game. Urban Meyer wants that championship...and I think Jones can deliver it. The rest of the team is going to have to step up.
