When a player announces he is transferring and also says "do not contact" what does that mean? Are schools only supposed to contact the agent? Is the player simply wanting to renegotiate with his current school? Has he already decided where he is going? Something else entirely?

My position is OSU should pursue three types of players. 1. Downs and Sayin type players. 2. Day 1 starters. 3. Players with at least three years of experience. I’ve been trying to reach Coach Day and let him know my thoughts but am having a hard time reaching him. Go figure;-)
