Not to sidetrack this thread, but is the portal as wild in other collegiate sports as it is in football? I’m sure the dollars are a different level and am curious how much annual relative movement there is in other sports.
Don't the Buckeyes need an Offensive Coordinator?
Sarcastic here although I think he was decent as an OC for the Vikings. And I am definitely NOT advocating he even get a look.

He is the sixth coach Temu Jimmuh has fired since buying the team in 2012. Yeah, time to look in the mirror Jimmuh.
Portal rumors are crazy. Just saw two things about the IL kicker. One says TN and the other says A&M.
I think I will wait until I hear official word from the OSU program before I get excited about anything on the interwebs:-)
Congrats to Myles!
Will Stefanski survive to coach another season in Cleveland?
Clowns have the 6th pick in the draft. I expect Berry and Temu Jimmuh to select another QB while ignoring the offensive line.
I agree that Cig is doing well with the portal, but don't they have a ton to replace too? I'm assuming the Bucks do not have as many to replace in the portal since we are returning more players.
When a player announces he is transferring and also says "do not contact" what does that mean?
Are schools only supposed to contact the agent?
Is the player simply wanting to renegotiate with his current school?
Has he already decided where he is going?
Something else entirely?
What exactly does a "do not contact" tag mean? Are teams only supposed to contact the agent? Are they just wanting to renegotiate with their current team? Do they already know where they are going?
My position is OSU should pursue three types of players.
1. Downs and Sayin type players.
2. Day 1 starters.
3. Players with at least three years of experience.
I’ve been trying to reach Coach Day and let him know my thoughts but am having a hard time reaching him. Go figure;-)
