#1 LSU vs #3 Clemson, CFP Title Game, Mon Jan 13th 8 pm ET from New Orleans

Clyde Edwards-Helaire is the difference maker in this type of matchup. His explosiveness should be key for LSU coasting to victory.

Georgia Bulldogs (2021-2022 National Champions & Excellent Drivers)

Well Bill Belichick may see Fromm as the next Tom Brady and he loves drafting Georgia players so you never know.

    Mike Yurcich (Unemployed)

He was pretty much for UT what Miami had with Dennis Erickson, Butch Davis, and then Larry Coker. He didn't have to coach the players, he just had to recruit the players who could play for UT.
  4. RCSooner1974

    Oklahoma Sooners (official thread)

Well he doesn't have to be a world-beater in recruiting. Calvin Thibodeaux and Roy Manning are the primary recruiters for the OU defense.

    Oklahoma Sooners (official thread)

Shit yeah CeeDee is better. Hollywood is a blazer, but his hands have always been suspect. CeeDee is much more polished and will go higher in his draft than Hollywood went in his draft.

    Oklahoma Sooners (official thread)

No doubt. He'll be the most physically gifted athlete OU has put in the draft since AD. Such an impressive talent with his hands, YAC, and unbelieveable tackle-breaking ability.

    2019-20 Bowl games (non-CFP) thread

God I hope so. I'm already receiving so much flak from Texass fans about the Peach Bowl here in Whorn Country.

#1 LSU vs #4 Oklahoma, 4 pm ET on Dec. 28 in Atlanta

Well considering Michigan started playing football in 1879 and had most of their success before the start of WWII, winning 47 games in a row looks a lot more impressive than having the most all-time wins even though you've played football for 140 years and are now constantly owned by your rival...

Yeah. Well the only way UT can be successful is if they hire a dynamic recruiter like Mack Brown. That way they virtually lock up all the top high school players in the state of Texas.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that 2005 Texas team won a fluke national title. They blew out every team in the Big XII and curbstomped Joel Klatt and Colorado 70-3 in the Big XII Championship Game. They also beat a talented tOSU team featuring 8 first round NFL draft picks and a USC team...

#1 LSU vs #4 Oklahoma, 4 pm ET on Dec. 28 in Atlanta

You're probably right. Maybe Alabama's 17 national titles might considered the greatest record in football, but OU winning 47 straight from 1953-57 is pretty darn close in respect to Bama and Notre Dame winning all those national titles. It's like the college football equivalent to UCLA's...

#1 LSU vs #4 Oklahoma, 4 pm ET on Dec. 28 in Atlanta

No need to be sorry, bro. My team deserves to be ripped by the national media after the sh*t show they pulled the other day. Lol! I hope they don't go to the playoff for the next year or two. They need to add a lot more talent and depth after flushing out the remnants from the Stoops era...

"It's dead." Yep. So harsh, yet so true.

    Lamb to the draft.

When you say this again one year from now, you won't be as sarcastic. :)
  16. RCSooner1974

    Mike Yurcich (Unemployed)

He won't do much with Texass' offense. Given that UT football lives and dies off substantial recruiting, they won't have the talent to be as potent as they were during the late 2000s with VY and Colt.

#1 LSU vs #4 Oklahoma, 4 pm ET on Dec. 28 in Atlanta

Well, I will say that Clemson worries me as they are inching closer to OU's NCAA record 47-game winning streak as they are just 18 games away. I would like to see them lose this one so I can feel safe about the greatest record in football that has gone 60+ years without being broken.
  18. RCSooner1974

#1 LSU vs #4 Oklahoma, 4 pm ET on Dec. 28 in Atlanta

Hey man, I'm a Sooner fan through and through. But quit trying to make the argument that OU was as good of a team as LSU this year. Bad refs or not, there was no chance in hell they would have won or much less stopped Joe Burrow and the LSU offense from scoring as many points as they did. My...
