Team A could be the 1997-98 Tennessee Vols, who won the conference championship in football and lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Nope: I got it. 2012-13 Kansas State is team A. This is an all Kansas debate.

Team B is the 2007-08 Kansas Jayhawks, who went 12-1 and won the Orange Bowl vs. VTech. Their hoops team went 37-3, defeating Memphis for the national title. I'm not sure about Team A. I'll take the NC in basketball and BCS bowl victory over conference championships. As another poster noted...
