Joel Klatt had a podcast with a bunch of ideas on how to fix CFB and that was one of them that makes sense. I'm not an expert on any of this, but most of his ideas sounded better than what we have now.

Seeing as the teams with byes could very well go 0-4 they might as well expand the playoff to 16 with the order based completely on the ranking order rather than conference champs getting a bump.
