NoD declines a bowl game - hahahhahahaahh fuck you join a conference fuckos.
NoD declines a bowl game, which fucks with ESECPN's bowl revenue and ratings potential - hahahahahaahahahahah stop overly favoring the SEC SEC SEC fuckos.
Again, win win from here
I don't think Day was holding anything back last year or last night. I think people expecting a repeat of what we saw against Tennecheat and Oregon in the Rose Bowl is not indicative of what this team is this year - hell it wasn't even really what we saw against Texas or Notre Dame either last...
I really really wish people would stop comparing last night to the TCUN 2024 game. It's a VERY lazy take that doesn't come close to the actual reality.
For starters, Indiana this year is far superior to that TCUN team. Ohio State found ways to lose both games, but last night was a lot more...
I don't think that's out of touch at all.
Especially with a young team. Sometimes the worst thing is having all day to sit around and think about stuff.
On the bright side. Ohio State played a B game on defense and a C- game on offense and lost by a FG
Indiana is good and did just enough to win.
Great learning opportunity here with a couple weeks to reset and absorb the lesson.
Jeremiah is light years more physical. Tate is going to be awesome in the NFL though.
O-line got better once Van Sickle got in there. It also got better when the plays were called to their strengths.
I don't get what you're saying about hte defense - Indiana had literally its worst offensive...
I would say that Mendoza was the more mature QB tonight.
Sayin took a couple awful sacks.
And that's ok - he's still super young as a QB. You could tell exactly when the game slowed down for him in the 4th quarter.
If Sayin is the player we all hope he is, this is just a bump in the road.
That too
Which, by the way, is why I'm very certain Day isn't calling the plays. He absolutely runs the ball on both of those plays. It's been his MO.
Instead we got 2 very low-efficiency type plays that didn't gain a thing.
That cannot happen in the playoffs.
See part of this is as good as Sayin has been, he's still a pup.
He's so pre-programmed to NOT take chances that he just took a 1 yard checkdown with 86 yards to go.
Hat tip to Indiana.
Yup - What would Woody say? Once he calmed down of course.
He'd say we gotta play better and we gotta execute our gameplan better. And he'd tell his offensive coaches they need to do a better job of adjusting to what the defense is doing faster.
Welp...you live by the sword and you die by the sword.
In this case, it's the efficiency sword.
A very bland and predictable offense until the 2nd half is fine, IF you are executing at your usual efficient ways. Instead, they weren't, and the offense "got cute" and has looked kinda weird in...
