This team has to grow up a LOT between now and whenever their 1st playoff game is to be a real title contender. This is NOT a performance to be proud of....it IS a performance to learn from.

Another weird playcall on 1st down....I don't get it.

Either speed him up or man the fuck up. This halfsies defense isn't getting it done.

But again, that wasn't the play design. It was very low efficiency as called...... And the defense is getting picked apart now so it may not matter.

And to add to it... It's not necessary. I've said it for a couple weeks - just be who you are. This is decidedly NOT what they've been. Part of that is credit to Indiana. Part of that is not trusting yourself enough to do what you do best. We've seen glimpses, and then it goes away.

So again - that 3rd down pass was a very low efficiency type play. On 3rd and 1 in that situation, I just don't see calling that. Get the 1st down and THEN call that? Sure. This game has been a lot of that - low efficiency type play calls in weird situations.
