Don't know much about him but FWIW, 247 has him ranked the 8th best safety and 84th best player. They also have his top 2 as Texas and Oklahoma with Alabama rounding out his top 3. Not sure where we stand as he just got the offer.

The rumor stemmed from Scout to begin with. Someone on 11W was just passing it along.

Visiting Bama is a lot different then visiting OSU. At Bama he can make the trip there and back in one day, maybe staying overnight at a hotel if he really wants. For him to come to OSU it is at least two days, if not more. Big difference IMO.

According to Bucknuts Boarding House, OSU has not offered yet but if we do offer expect us to jump up his board. He said he likes ND and Oregon but if very interested in OSU and said if he had to pick a favorite it would be OSU.

Never really thought we had much of a shot with him, but alway hoped if he visited campus we could make an impression. Wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't visit at all.

So basically it sounds like if we offer him after his Michigan visit he's OSU bound, if not South Carolina bound.

I thought he was a silent to UF too but word was his last visit didn't thrill him the way he expected. Bill K from 247 thinks it comes down to OSU and MSU.

Not bad being in his top 5 without him visiting yet. This kid's a stud and it'd be awesome to land him in our 2014 class.

Would have liked to have had him come to bond with the other players and recruits but still great that he wants to get up here for a game.

I honestly think it comes down to spots available. We'll see if we have room if Meyer puts on the full court press this weekend. He's been a Buckeye fan his whole life, even recruiting is "big bro" Curtis Grant to OSU. I really like our chances should we have room available.

That sucks. Kid is a beast. I still hope he comes to visit. We probably won't have room for him but he was always one of my favorite backs in the class and would be a perfect fit for our offense.

He was Urban's first 2014 offer and from what I've heard, he's a pretty big Buckeye fan. I wouldn't worry too much about him wanting to visit a few places before he decides.
