Two things:
A) Want, he is mean, physical, plays really well with his hands/pad level, and has a good motor.
B) This makes me think of what could Rutgers could be if they lock their own back yard down
I totally understand why Larry Johnson doesn't always go for the 5*s, I love how we take high level 3*s who just need molding and make them into gems over years. He's become the stud DT we've been screaming for, for years
Well, I can tell you from personal experience he is a stud, I tried to recruit him coming out of middle school. Good kid, and technically sound as any prospect we are recruiting.
Got a chance to watch his film, I get the same feeling I got when I watched Knighton. He has it all, vision, phone booth quickness, acceleration, top end speed.... My senses have been re-awakened.....
Question, are the DBs playing better because they are playing with more confidence or is it because they are playing with impeccable technique akin to what Coombs had his group playing with?
